PERIODS
Periods
in a school schedule refer to specific time blocks for classes. These
periods have titles like "1st Period," "2nd Period," and so on, and each
has a set duration. Here's how to create and define these periods:
Step 1: Creating a New Period
- Look for a panel, usually on the left-hand side, labeled "New Period."
- In
this panel, enter the title of the period. This could be something like
"1st Period" or "2nd Period." You can customize these titles based on
your school's schedule format.
- Once you've entered the title, proceed to set the start and end times for the period. This defines the duration of each class.
- You
may have options to select times using drop-down menus or by typing
them directly into fields. Ensure accuracy in specifying the times to
avoid scheduling conflicts.
- After entering the title and defining the duration, locate the OK option to save your changes.
- Click
on the save option to confirm the creation of the period. This ensures
that the newly defined period is added to the school schedule.
Step 2: Confirmation
- Once
you've saved the changes, you might receive a confirmation message
indicating that the period has been successfully created.
- Review the details of the newly created period to ensure accuracy in the title, start time, and end time.
Step 3: Managing Created Periods
- Once created, you can see and manage the periods in the right box of the interface.
- From here, you can edit the period to modify its details if needed or even delete it
