How to Deactivate a Teacher When They Have Classes Registered on the Platform?
When deactivating a teacher, follow these steps:
Step 1: Block Access to CollegeOne
- Go to the Employees / Employees section.
- Identify the teacher and click the Edit button.
- Modify the email address by adding an extra letter or number to block access.
Step 2: Transfer Teacher Data
- Go to the Teacher / Teacher Data Switch section.
Step 3: Select Transfer Type
- In the left box titled Transferred from, select Transfer classes with data in the Type option.
Step 4: Select Teacher to Deactivate
- In the Teacher option, select the teacher you wish to deactivate.
Step 5: Select Classes
- In the Classes option, select all the classes assigned to the teacher.
Step 6: Verify Options
- In the center box, ensure all options are marked.
Step 7: Assign New Teacher
- In the right box titled Transfer to, enter the name of the new teacher who will take over the classes.
- Press Transfer.
Step 8: Confirm Transfer
- Confirm the action. You will receive a message indicating the action has been completed successfully.
Step 9: Deactivate Teacher
- Finally, go to the Teachers / Teachers section.
- Identify the teacher, press Edit, and deactivate them from the platform.
