Two-factor authentication (2FA) is a security measure designed to prevent unauthorized access to user accounts. It requires two forms of validation for accessing an online account. Typically, these two factors include something you know (such as a password) and something you have (such as a code generated on a mobile device). By incorporating more than one factor in the authentication process, there is a higher level of assurance that user access is authorized.
However, there is also a risk associated with relying solely on a single factor, like a password, as it can be compromised. To mitigate this risk and enhance the security of our system, we have implemented two-factor authentication. Our system may prompt you to enter a 6-digit code sent to your mobile device via text message. You must input this code on the login screen to access your parent account. If you do not receive the text message for any reason, please select the option indicating that you did not receive the code, and the system will send it to your email.
Taking these steps will help ensure you receive the necessary verification code for accessing your account. Verifying your contact information with the administration can resolve any issues, allowing you to use two-factor authentication securely.
