Mailbox

The Mailbox function in the College One Parental Portal allows parents to communicate with administrators, teachers, and assistants. This guide provides a step-by-step process for using the Mailbox function to send messages.


Step 1: Accessing the Mailbox

  1. Login to College One Portal: Open the "Mailbox" from the Navigation Tab. 

Step 2: Composing a Message

  1. Click on Compose: On the mailbox interface, click on the large blue "+ Compose" button to start a new message.




Step 3: Selecting Recipients

  1. Choose Recipients:
    1. A list of administrators, teachers, and assistants will appear.
    2. Click on the names to select individual recipients.
    3. To select all recipients, check the box next to "All".


Step 4:  Writing the Message

  1. Enter Subject and Message:
    1. In the "Subject" field, enter the subject of your message.
    2. In the main text area, write your message.

Step 5: Sending the Message

  1. Click Send: Once the subject and message are complete, click the "Send" button to dispatch your message to the selected recipients. 

Additional Features

  1. Inbox: View received messages from administrators, teachers, and assistants.
  2. Sent: View messages you have sent.
  3. Draft: Save and view draft messages.
  4. Starred: Mark important messages with a star for easy reference.
  5. Trash: Deleted messages are moved to the trash and can be managed from there.
  6. Search Bar: Use the search bar to find messages by keyword or sender’s email address.


By following these steps, parents can efficiently use the Mailbox function to communicate with school staff, ensuring effective and organized correspondence.
