- Select Teachers:
- Click on "Teacher": A list of teachers will appear.
- Select Recipients: You can select individual teachers by clicking their names or select all teachers by checking the "Select All" box.
- Add Recipients:
- Select Recipients: The selected teachers will be added to the recipients list.
- Compose the Message:
- Subject: Enter the subject of your message in the subject field.
- Message: Write your message in the message body.
- Send the Message:
- Click "Send": Click the "Send" button to send your message to the selected teachers.
Step 3: Receiving Messages
- Inbox: Check your inbox regularly to read messages received from your teachers.
- Reading Messages: Click on a message in your inbox to open and read it.
- Inbox: Click here to view your received emails.
- Sent: Click here to view sent emails.
- Draft: Click here to view draft emails.
- Starred: Click here to view starred/important emails.
- Trash: Click here to view deleted emails.
- Labels Section: Apply labels to emails for better organization.
- + Button: Click the + button in the Labels section to create new labels.
Step 6: Main Panel
- Toolbar
- Select Dropdown: Choose options like "Select All Emails", "Select Unread Emails", etc.
- Order By Dropdown: Sort emails by criteria such as date, sender, etc.
- Filter Button (Green): Apply filters based on selected criteria.
- Delete Button (Red): Delete selected emails.
- Search Bar: Search emails by keywords or sender's email address.
- Email List
- Sender: Name and role of the sender.
- Subject: Subject of the email.
- Snippet: Preview of the email body.
- Attachments: Indicates attachments with a paperclip icon and file name.
- Timestamp: Date and time the email was received.
- Read/Unread Indicator: Blue dot indicates unread emails.
- Checkbox: Select individual emails.
- Star Icon: Mark/star important emails.
- Three Dots Menu: Access additional actions (e.g., reply, forward, delete).
- Bottom Pagination
- Pagination Controls: Navigate between different pages of the email list if there are more emails than fit on one page.
By following these steps, students can efficiently communicate with their teachers, ensuring they can ask questions, seek clarifications, and stay updated on important information.
