VIRTUAL CLASSROOM

The virtual classroom function allows teachers to create a virtual space for giving classes. This guide will walk you through the process of creating a class and enabling the page to conduct a virtual session.

Step 1: Create a New Virtual Classroom

To start a new virtual classroom, click on the "New" button. This will initiate the setup process, allowing you to configure the virtual classroom according to your specific needs.

Step 2: Select Filters

Next, select the appropriate filters for your virtual classroom. Choose the grade level, select the group of students, specify the class subject or name, and define the period or time frame for the session. These filters help to organize and target your virtual class effectively.

Step 3: Enter Classroom Details

Provide detailed information about your virtual classroom session. Enter a title for the class, specify the dates it will take place, and write a brief description of the class content or objectives. Remember, the maximum number of concurrent students per session is 41.

Step 4: Edit Classroom Details

Once you have entered all the necessary details, click "Create" to finalize the virtual classroom setup. After creation, you can edit the details if needed, reactivate the meeting for changes, and note the displayed class ID. It's crucial to share this class ID with your students as they will need it to enter the virtual classroom.

Step 5: Start the Virtual Classroom

After reviewing and accepting the settings, a new window will open with the class ready to be conducted. This step ensures that all configurations are in place before the class begins.

Step 6: Confirm student access

Once created, the teacher must provide students access to the virtual classroom.

Step 7: Public and private chats

You can choose to participate in a public chat with everyone or have a private conversation with a specific student.

Step 6: Adjust Microphone and Camera Settings

Finally, adjust your microphone and camera settings to ensure optimal audio and video quality. Make sure everything is working correctly, then click "Start" to begin the virtual class session. This ensures a smooth and interactive teaching experience.

By following these steps, you will be able to successfully set up and conduct a virtual classroom, providing a seamless experience for both you and your students.
