In this guide, we will walk you through how a principal can create and manage the semesters and the quarters of the school. This process ensures the proper organization of academic periods for effective school management.

Step 1: Creating a New Semester
- Click on the New button to start creating a new semester.
- Title: Provide a title for the semester (e.g., Semester 1).
- Year: Indicate the academic year.
- Dates: Specify the start and end dates of the semester.
Step 2: Adding Quarters to the Semester
- After creating the semester, click on Edit to enter additional data and manage quarters.
- Click on Add Quarter to start adding quarters within the semester.
- Name of the Quarter: Provide a name for the quarter
- Dates: Specify the start and end dates of the quarter.
Step 3: Activating and Deleting Semesters
- Navigate to the Active section where you can activate the semester.
- Click on the Activate
button to make the semester active according to the specified dates.
This ensures the semester is operational and recognized within the
school's system.
